RemArkable Ink Big Blog Hop – National Craft Month – Picture Perfect Party Suite

NationalCraftMonthBLOG

Welcome to the Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop for March 2018. This month our theme is Anything Crafty! You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog or may have come from the talented and creative Anna Krol of  Anna’s Stampin’ Cave in the UK.  If you get off track at any time, the full line-up is below to help you move from to blog to blog so you don’t miss any of the fantastic projects.

As soon as I read this month’s theme, I knew exactly which suite of Stampin’ Up! products I wanted to play with — the Picture Perfect Party Suite for sure (all those P’s – so much fun to say!!). Two of these cards are directly CASE’d (Copy and Share Everything)
from page 4 of the wonderful Occasions Catalogue. The third (the smaller, notecard size) uses a special cutting technique posted by Patty Bennett, one of my favourite Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. She constantly shares tips and tricks to get the most out of our Stampin’ Up! products. She posted way back in the summer of 2016 the how-to’s to cutting the beautiful Serene Scenery 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper so that you’d be able to create 2 beautiful notecard size cards with each piece of the 6 x 6 DSP. If you cut all 48 sheets, you can actually make 96 notecards and be ready to celebrate every occasion on your calendar!!

0318-rctc-blog-hop1.pngI love the simple and happy designs of the Picture Perfect Party DSP – isn’t it wonderful when the paper shouts out, “let’s celebrate you – it’s Party time”? The party starts when you take out your supplies to begin creating something fun.

If you haven’t already purchased this suite of coordinating 6 x 6 Designer Series paper, photopolymer stamps, Simple Stripes Embossing Folder, Cardstock Pack, Classic Stampin’ Spots & Mini Binder Clips, whatcha waitin’ for?

You know you’ll definitely use each and every item in the Picture Perfect Party Suite so, if you live in Canada, go order them right now at my “Shop With Me” button on the right side of my blog. All on-line orders receive a special thank you from me including a cute card and a delight and surprise of the month! Now is the best time to order all of the Picture Perfect Party Suite as you’ll qualify for a FREE Sale-A-Bration product for each $60 Cdn you spend from now until March 31st.

Remember:
1. Be sure to share your contact info with me so that you’ll receive:
(a) a thank you email
(b) a hand-stamped Thank You card in the mail from me
(c) if you are regularly spending at least $50 Cdn over the past six month period, I put you on my list to automatically receive our Annual Catalogue in May, our Holiday Catalogue in August, and Occasions Catalogue in December.

If you believe you’ve checked out from your on-line order as a guest or clicked “no contact” from your demonstrator and so have not heard from me, please email me and we’ll look into this so I can see your info and send you cards, surprise and delight gifts and catalogues.

2. Purchase this stamp set (Picture Perfect Birthday #145519 Photopolymer $21 Cdn) as Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Setpart of an order of at least $60 during Sale-A-Bration and you are eligible to choose one FREE Sale-A-Bration item for each $60 of merchandise. Receive a bonus just from me of my PDF by email with cutting and creating instructions for the notecard set with decorated acetate box (includes instructions for the technique I used for the Polka Dot decoration of the box)!
3. The 2017-18 Annual Catalogue Retiring List will be posted soon by Stampin’ Up! Don’t wait until then as last year many In-Color items were sold out within hours of the list being posted.  We know already that all the 2016-2018 In-Colors products will disappear May 31st including Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum, Flirty Flamingo, Emerald Envy and Dapper Denim. Now is the time to complete your colour collection so you don’t miss out.

Thanks SO much for stopping by to see my project for the National Craft Month Blog Hop.  Next on the list is Jamie Albaense at gettingcrafty.net.  Happy Stampin’!

  1. I’m a Su! Demonstrator as well. I love your project. Would you mind telling me how you did your dots. I love EVERYTHING about this project. Would love to CASE! Thank YOU for sharing!

    • Thanks for your question. I’m so glad you’d like to CASE it — please go ahead — absolutely fine! My how-to: I slipped the polka dot embossing folder inside the acetate card box (the bottom flap of the embossing folder inside the acetate box and the top flap of the embossing folder on the top of the acetate box. It does work to put it through the Big Shot if the closing flaps of the acetate box are folded away from the embossing folder. I think I may have also changed up the sandwich of the platform to accommodate the thicker project. Next step was to colour the bumps of the polka dots with the Blends marker and, voila, you’ve got a really fun package ready for your beautiful cards or other goodies! You will probably find a YouTube video for clarification if my wording is unclear. Thanks so much for asking and hope you enjoyed the National Craft Month Blog Hop!
