LAST DAY to choose the Make & Take add on for Sept 9th Creative Carnival!

The last day to register for Make & Take packages is tomorrow, Aug 20th. See below for details and link to register. Make & Take packages will be at the desk when you enter the event if you pre-purchase that option. You’ll make 5 cards with envelopes and still have time to view and photograph all the fabulous displays – don’t miss your chance to take home a bit of fall/Christmas creativity! It’s going to be a great time!

GENERAL EVENT INFORMATION

The following options are available.

NOTE: if an session appears on the form, that means space is available. Once a session reaches capacity it will be closed, that option will no longer be avaiable on the form.

Session 1 – 11:30a.m. to 1:00p.m.

•entrance to event (displays only, $10)

•full access (displays and 5 make n takes, $25)

Session 2 – 1:30 to 3:00p.m.

It’s an exciting day for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators around the world. The September-December 2023 Mini Catalogue pre-order started today. I had my Excel List of must haves and, after a good breakfast and a few cups of coffee with my sweet husband, it was time to get down to work.

My paper copy of the catalogue should arrive soon but, in the meantime, it’s this version on my laptop and I-pad that I’ve been flipping through over and over. Notes and lots of lists have been made for classes and events and, now that I’ve placed my order, it’s time to get those events out for you to mark your calendar and to open registrations. It seems with most catalogues, it takes time to really see ALL the fun packed into each page, doesn’t it! It’s definitely a process I’ve refined quite a bit over the 16 years I’ve demonstrated for Stampin’ Up!

Copies of the paper catalogue will be available for you to pickup in 1-2 weeks and will be available for you to order from starting September 6th.

Today is the 1st day to start using the $6 shopping coupons you earned during the month of July. Here is a photo showing you how to enter the codes that Stampin’ Up! sent you by email when you placed an online order or workshop order for each $60 you spent before shipping and GST. My coupon codes had a combination of #’s and letters like this XX6PO-QKP4H3TB and I inserted the hyphen and received $6 off for each of my codes. You can enter several codes but each one needs to be on a separate line. Hope this helps!

Christmas Card Stamp a Stack Oct 18 & 21, 2022

The next Christmas Card Class is now available. $30 for 12 cards including envelopes (3 of each of 4 designs). In person classes available Tuesday Oct 18 at 7 pm and 2nd option is Friday Oct 21 at 7 pm. All supplies prepped and ready for you at in-person classes.

If you’d like to do the class but can’t join us on this Friday, I’d be happy to book a separate date or arrange for the To-Go option for you to craft at a time that suits you best. For the to-go option you will need the following:

  • Sweet Candy Cane stamp set (#159560)
  • Christmas Banners stamp set (#159570)
    plus a greeting like the set I used – Hope & Peace (#159773)
    Plus the following inks: Real Red, Garden Green, Pear Pizzaz, Crumb Cake & Soft Suede. I will supply and prep all cardstock, trim, & envelopes.
    You are welcome to book an individual or group class in a separate date

Cost is $30 (transfer, cash or cheque) before or at the class. Remember … once you let me know you are planning to attend, the class supplies are being prepped for you and if you have to cancel for any reason, class fees are still payable and I can either supply everything ready for you to assemble or you can arrange a date for a one on one time to craft with me.

This Friday is the September Cookies & Cards Class. I have 2 fun projects for you and if you haven’t already RSVP’d yet, please let me know if you plan to come or wish to purchase the To-Go version with supplies & the PDF tutorials. You can also book a private date for this class for you (and a few friends if you’d like).

The Class includes supplies to make 2 card with envelopes plus tutorials emailed to you afterwards so you can download to new and/or print to make more of the paper crafting designs. We’ll enjoy a beverage and snack during the in-person class.

Cost is $20 (transfer, cash or cheque) before or at the class or FREE with a minimum $30 order with me (before shipping and GST) from any current catalogue, Clearance Rack or Paper Pumpkin pre-paid new subscription. Remember … members of my Ink and Sparkle Stamping demonstrator team can attend the class for only $10 and no obligation to place an order.

Today at 1:00 pm MDT, as with most Wednesday afternoons, I was on FaceBook at Ink and Sparkle Stamping with Sue doing a Live video. I randomly chose 3 Stampin’ Up! products + 2 Stampin’ Up! products + 1 Stampin’ Up! product and make a project (see why I call these posts 3-2-1 Stamp?). This week I chose 3 embellishments, 2 wreath layers and 1 stamp.

I hope your day has been going well; for us, today has been a bit like a rollercoaster. Our son is traveling home from the USA as part of his requirements for his type of travel visa. He is at Youth With A Mission Ships at the land base in Kona, Hawaii. Unfortunately even with the best of planning and preparedness, things have not gone all that smoothly. We’ve had late last night calls and early this morning calls and all finally seems to be coming together. Over the past 2 days, he has learned to rearrange flights more than once, rearrange Canadian government required 3-day hotel bookings, arrange repeated Covid testings, navigate situations where he was denied boarding because of circumstances out of his control and, most importantly, stay level-headed and work through all the things necessary. It is an understatement to say I will be so glad when he arrives back in Edmonton on Saturday morning — I really can’t wait!

Each Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 pm MDT, you’ll find me on FaceBook at Ink and Sparkle Stamping with Sue doing a Live video. I will randomly in advance choose 3 Stampin’ Up! products + 2 Stampin’ Up! products + 1 Stampin’ Up! product and make a project. This week I chose 3 card stock colours, 2 stamp sets and 1 punch. Whenever possible, I will post a free tutorial for the project here for you to view and print if you wish. On the FaceBook Live post, when you “like”, “comment” and “share” the post, you will be in on the possibility of receiving the card or project in the mail. Each comment, like and share gets you more entries!
