This or That Daffodil Afternoon Hello

Jan/Feb 2022 Sale-a-Bration Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper (DSP)
Version 2: with Vellum layer added

Picture 2 is the 2nd version of the card from 3-2-1 Stamp this past Wednesday at 5 pm. I mentioned on the video that I found this pattern from the Sale-a-Bration Designer Series Paper (DSP) a bit busy for my comfort zone.

So here is the question: which one do you prefer? Picture 1 or 2?

Let me know by posting a comment on the Facebook video (link below) and your name goes in a draw to receive your favourite of the 2 cards!

I hope you enjoy using the card tutorial. If you use this as a starting point for your own project, I would love would love to see you share and comment on the FaceBook post whether you watch live or on the replay.

If you need Stampin’ Up! supplies, please shop HERE during the month of January (includes Host Code for the month of January). If your shopping list is $200 or over, please don’t use the Host Code so that you can use the Stampin’ Rewards yourself. Every online order receives a thank you card from me and a special gift.

If your “must have list” is lengthy, consider choosing the Starter Kit and include up to $165 of merchandise for only $135 including shipping. It is an especially great value right now in that during Saleabration January & February of 2022, you get to choose an additional 2 stamp sets for FREE from the Annual or January to June spring mini catalogues.

You don’t need to do classes, run things as a business (but you definitely can if you wish!) and can simply enjoy the demonstrator discount for as long as you wish. Those who purchase the Starter Kit in January 2022 aren’t required to purchase the quarterly minimum until the end of June 2022. Join the Stampin’ Up! community and make things work the way you want.

If you live in Canada and do not already have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I would be happy to be your Demonstrator. I can help you get a new 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue and January to June Mini Catalogue. If you are in or near Edmonton and can come pick up your catalogue, there is no cost and I will include a thank-you and a few pieces of the 2021-2023 In-Color Cardstock and supplies to start making projects even before you get a chance to open your new Catalogue.

Contact me if you have Stampin’ Up! questions and I hope you enjoy using your free tutorial!

  1. I like the first one without the vellum but I understand when you say you think it’s busy. I would leave off the daffodil and the backing and do more to the words to make them stand out on their own…

  2. I like version 2 , I agree with you about the paper needs the vellum to soften the card .I think I would try a smaller strip of the busy DSP and then the doily / daffodil on the other side for another version.
