3-2-1 Stamp Weds Oct 13, 2021: Embossing with Gingerbread Dies

Embossing with Gingerbread Dies 3-2-1 Stamp FaceBook Live Oct 13, 2021

My FaceBook Live this week at Ink and Sparkle Stamping with Sue October 13th used: 3 Dies, 2 Colours of Cardstock and 1 Colour of Ink.

I promise you, this card looks so much better in person.

Did you know you can emboss with metal dies? Yes you most certainly can! The most important part is to remember to keep the side of the dies with the cutting ridges away from your card stock layer. You will see in the video how easy this is. If you don’t still have the silicone embossing mat that Stampin’ Up! sold when we had the Big Shot die machine, you can still do this technique but you’ll use several layers of card stock as your shim. The video gives you a step-by-step method for embossing and I hope you’ll give it a try whether you have the new Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine or another brand. The technique definitely extends the different ways you can use your dies. I’d really love to see your project if you make a project using this technique. Please send me a photo or tag me (Ink and Sparkle Stamping with Sue) on FaceBook or Instagram.

Here is the link to the video on FaceBook and below that, you will find the tutorial for you to view and/or print. Just click on the blue coloured words and the link will take you there.

This is the alternative project I mentioned on the FaceBook Live today using the White Stampin’ Chalk Marker.

Please shop in my online store and every online order receives a thank you card from me. If your “must have list” is lengthy, consider choosing the Starter Kit and include up to $165 of merchandise for $135 including shipping (GST still needs to be paid unfortunately!).

You don’t need to do classes, run things as a business (but you definitely can if you wish!) and can simply enjoy the demonstrator discount for as long as you wish. 3-2-1 Stamp Weds July 14, 2021: Snowflake Wishes

Snowflake Wishes card using Beaty of the Earth Designer Series Paper and new stencil

On 3-2-1 Stamp FaceBook Live at Ink and Sparkle Stamping with Sue, it was another Christmas project. Today I was playing with one of the stencils from an upcoming catalogue and White Craft Ink. This was a very simple card but I hope you are just as pleased with the design as I was when I was done. The video for this card is simple and I hope you enjoy duplicating the project. Please get in touch with me if you’d like a copy of the holiday mini catalogue and the Sale-A-Bration brochure. Yes … there really is a second round of Sale-A-Bration this year and there’s lots of fun inside. Starting August 3rd, every $60 Cdn you spend in any of the current catalogues gives you an item for free in the Sale-A-Bration brochure.

To sweeten the deal and give you even more for your shopping dollars, won’t you shop my BOGO (Buy One Get One) Retired product sale on August 6th 1-4 pm and 6-8 pm? For whatever total you have of retired products, that is the amount you get to spend in the current catalogues instead of paying me directly for the retired items. On top of that … for every $60 Cdn you spend with me, you get a free item out of the Sale-A-Bration brochure! How is that for extending the value of your crafting dollars? I thought you’d like it … Sale-A-Bration is the most wonderful time of the year at Stampin’ Up!

Click on the blue coloured words below and the link will take you to the video. The tutorial for this card can be viewed and/or downloaded for printings below the video link.

3-2-1 Stamp Weds July 7, 2021: Pinwheel Tower Evergreen Elegance

Evergreen Elegance Fun Fold: Pinwheel Tower card (see video for alternative DSP/patterned paper)

This project on 3-2-1 Stamp on FaceBook Live today ended up being a toughie! I don’t think I’ve ever demonstrated a card and then when done, decided that I didn’t like it! The card I had made with Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper looked great to me so I cut supplies with a Christmas theme, fully expecting everything to go just fine. Well … I ended up adding a few things to the original card and the photo above is what I ended up with and this time I like it!

I changed the original front of the card so that it now is the back. Here’s a picture of the back – I preferred it this way so that there is room to add a personalize greeting on the Basic White panel.

Here is the link to the 2 videos on FaceBook (the original & the card update) and below that, you will find the tutorial for you to view and/or print. There are 2 videos as I wanted to give you an update on the 2nd version of the card. I really do recommend using the tutorial to get the measurements you need for card stock and Designer Series Paper (DSP) and then using the video to assemble. It’s tough finding wording to explain this one so, as usual, if you have questions about this project, please let me know. Click on the blue coloured words below and the link will take you to the video(s).
