I took a different turn in designing today’s card. Instead of cutting the aspen tree oval out of solid cardstock, I chose a sheet from the Sale-A-Bration DSP called Rings of Love. I thought the pattern lended itself to looking more like a grove of trees and I liked the natural look to the layer. Below you’ll find links to the tutorial as well as the the August 3rd FaceBook video. Please let me know if you have questions about the project or other Stampin’ Up! questions I can help you with.

Isn’t this Hand-Penned suite of products so pretty! We are revisiting the Hand-Penned group of products and today we are using the Memories & More Cards & Envelopes as well as Card Pack. This suite of products has been my favourite and I would even go as far as to say that it has been a favourite as compared to any of the products I’ve loved from Stampin’ Up! though the years. The delicate, hand-drawn images remind me of flowers I remember from my grandmother’s garden in Sutton, England. It also contains the images and colours that my friend Heather was known for (if you’ve stamped with me for fairly long period, you will have known Heather before she sadly passed away).
On the video today, I mentioned several of the current promotions at Stampin’ Up! Be sure to check my demonstrator website at stampersue.stampinup.net for all the details.
SAVINGS ARE IN BLOOM promo: There are 13 bundles on sale and you can see all of them on my Stampin’ Up! website HERE. The mini size of the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine is also 20% off during March and that comes to $65.00 instead of $82.00! What a nice to time to have a sale as Stampin’ Up! recently announced that prices are going up for shipping (an additional $1 minimum or $10.95 for orders under $99 and up 1% to 11% shipping for orders $99 and more). Don’t miss out on the savings!!
If you need Stampin’ Up! supplies, please shop HERE during the month of March (includes Host Code for the month of March).
