If you need Stampin’ Up! supplies, please shop HERE during the month of December (includes Host Code for the month of December). If your “must have list” is lengthy, consider choosing the Starter Kit and include up to $165 of merchandise for only $135 including shipping. It is an especially great value right now and just think, everyone wants to save money … why not use the Starter Kit to make all your Christmas cards, home decor and more at a discount.

You don’t need to do classes, run things as a business (but you definitely can if you wish!) and can simply enjoy the demonstrator discount for as long as you wish. Those who purchase the Starter Kit in December aren’t required to purchase the quarterly minimum until after the end of March 2022. Join the Stampin’ Up! community and make things work the way you want.

If you live in Canada and do not already have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I would be happy to be your Demonstrator. I can help you get a new 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue and July to December Mini Catalogue. If you are in or near Edmonton and can come pick up your catalogue, there is no cost and I will include a thank-you and a few pieces of the 2021-2023 In-Color Cardstock and supplies to start making projects even before you get a chance to open your new Catalogue.

I watched a Canadian Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator (Lisa Althouse) demonstrate this card sketch using the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper and a series of different green tones from Stampin’ Up! products. Immediately I though about the beautiful DSPs we have in the current 2 catalogues and though about using the measurements for her card design and changing things up a bit. On the video today, I used the heartwarming Hugs DSP but showed another version using Tidings of Christmas DSP from the 2021-22 Annual Catalogue. I hope you enjoy the video and use the measurements for your next card project. If you do, I’d love to see a photo of your project and, remember … when you share this week’s FaceBook Live video between now and my next FaceBook Live and come back to the post and add a comment “Shared”, your name is entered to win the current week’s project sent to you in the mail. I absolutely love sharing Stampin’ Up! creativity and would love to share my current FaceBook Live project with you!

The October 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit was one of the best Christmas kits I’ve seen and this week’s card can be made with the parts from the kit if you have it or the refill but most definitely can be done with other supplies. In the current July-Dec Mini Catalogue, you’ll find the beautiful specialty Designer Series Paper called Peaceful Place. The sheets are tones of grey with accents of silver and can be used for the Northern Lights/Aurora Borealis technique I first saw on FrenchieStamps.com. I have a few Oct 2021 Peaceful Christmas Paper Pumpkin Refills that I can sell to you Cash & Carry but only While Supplies Last.

3-2-1 Stamp Weds Oct 13, 2021: Embossing with Gingerbread Dies

Embossing with Gingerbread Dies 3-2-1 Stamp FaceBook Live Oct 13, 2021

My FaceBook Live this week at Ink and Sparkle Stamping with Sue October 13th used: 3 Dies, 2 Colours of Cardstock and 1 Colour of Ink.

I promise you, this card looks so much better in person.

Did you know you can emboss with metal dies? Yes you most certainly can! The most important part is to remember to keep the side of the dies with the cutting ridges away from your card stock layer. You will see in the video how easy this is. If you don’t still have the silicone embossing mat that Stampin’ Up! sold when we had the Big Shot die machine, you can still do this technique but you’ll use several layers of card stock as your shim. The video gives you a step-by-step method for embossing and I hope you’ll give it a try whether you have the new Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine or another brand. The technique definitely extends the different ways you can use your dies. I’d really love to see your project if you make a project using this technique. Please send me a photo or tag me (Ink and Sparkle Stamping with Sue) on FaceBook or Instagram.

Here is the link to the video on FaceBook and below that, you will find the tutorial for you to view and/or print. Just click on the blue coloured words and the link will take you there.
