3-2-1 Stamp Wednesday August 3, 2022: Perched In A Tree Card
I took a different turn in designing today’s card. Instead of cutting the aspen tree oval out of solid cardstock, I chose a sheet from the Sale-A-Bration DSP called Rings of Love. I thought the pattern lended itself to looking more like a grove of trees and I liked the natural look to the layer. 3-2-1 Stamp Wednesday July 6, 2022: Christmas in July – Peace to You Card
I know some of you start early on your planning and making your Christmas cards so here is my first Christmas card of the season. This card ended up being my submission for a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator card exchange I participated in as well as my card for my Ink and Sparkle Stampers demonstrator team meeting this month. The tutorial is available further down this post and you can take a peek at my FaceBook Live for this card if you’d like as well. I decided to use the Brushstroke Specialty Designer Series paper from the new Annual Catalogue as I suspect it is a easily missed item on page 139. It is as beautiful paper with a slight shimmer to it and I would say it is a bit thinner than other Designer Series Papers. It’s strong enough to take Multipurpose Liquid Glue without buckling and it comes in 3 very pretty colours: Night of Navy, Blushing Bride and Soft Succulent. Take a look see!
The other item I used in today’s project is the Stamparatus. I don’t often say to you that “you need this” but this time I’m going to say it! It allowed me to get a repeated re-inking of the stamp and positioning it perfectly on the card stock. Secondly, if you are doing multiple cards, it is such a time-saver as you change out your card stock and repeatedly get a perfect placement for your stamping on the project. You should definitely add it to an upcoming order if you don’t have one!

3-2-1 Stamp THURSDAY May 19, 2022: Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes
Today’s 3-2-1 Stamp is a day late … sorry about that! Are you feeling like me and in need of a holiday? The reason for the late post: For my husband and I, we’ve been working through lots of details selling a rental property we have – I’m in need of some Stampin’ Up! stress-relieving card making and well … the holiday will come soon hopefully!
This card started out as a card base in the beautiful Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes pack. If you use the card bases and beautifully pre-decorated envelopes just as they come, they are gorgeous — there are 5 colours of card bases that correspond to the. brand new 2022-2024 In Colors that debuted in the 2022-23 Stampin’ Up! catalogue. They are so much more beautiful in person — such clear, saturated colours — you’ve got to come see them at my class and get some of these in your own hands!
Here is are the supplies that started out as a pre-printed March 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit (as of the time posting today, I’ve got 2 more refill kits from this Paper Pumpkin at $15 each if you’d like one for yourself or a friend. The Refill Kit doesn’t include the stamp or Ink that came with the full kit but has everything else you need!). All I added to the kit supplies was my brand new In-Color Stampin’ Write Markers and a half sheet of the Orchid Oasis (another one of the 2022-2024 In-Colors) card stock.

Today’s card came about as I saw a beautiful card by Dawn Olchefske on her blog dostamping.typepad.com dated March 12, 2022. I CASE’d (Copy & Selectively Edited) her beautiful card and changed things up a bit. I also saw another Stampin’ Up! demonstrator – sorry … I’m not sure who it was 😦 … who turned a punched piece from the Sprig Punch into a sprig of Pussy Willows. I wanted to share a project with you using the Pussy Willows and this is what I came up with. 3-2-1 Stamp Weds April 13, 2022: Daffodil Daydream Card
I just love the hand-painted look to the Beyond the Horizon card bases in the March 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit and New Horizons Designer Series Paper. The talented concept artists at Stampin’ Up! hand-paint the originals of these designs and then the paintings are photographed and the Designer Series Papers are printed from the photos. What an amazing group of artists and we get to use their beautiful works in our paper crafting – just another reason to love working with Stampin’ Up! products!
This is definitely one of the more simple cards I’ve made lately. I started with an old card I kept from a few years back. For today’s design, I wanted the cross to be centre focus and chose the pre-printed card base from the March 2022 Paper Pumpkin with that in mind. I liked how the swirl of colours near the upper part of the cross complimented the dark woodgrain and gold filagree of the cross itself. You may be surprised to know that I actually turned the intended direction of the card upside-down to make this effect work for the design. Don’t be afraid to use your supplies in a different way than originally intended — you never know if you’ll like it unless you try!

3-2-1 Stamp Weds March 30, 2022: Hand-Penned Memories & More Card
Isn’t this Hand-Penned suite of products so pretty! We are revisiting the Hand-Penned group of products and today we are using the Memories & More Cards & Envelopes as well as Card Pack. This suite of products has been my favourite and I would even go as far as to say that it has been a favourite as compared to any of the products I’ve loved from Stampin’ Up! though the years. The delicate, hand-drawn images remind me of flowers I remember from my grandmother’s garden in Sutton, England. It also contains the images and colours that my friend Heather was known for (if you’ve stamped with me for fairly long period, you will have known Heather before she sadly passed away).
